I started Neptune Ave. because I've always been fascinated by kelp. Growing up along the coast in North County San Diego, I spent countless hours around the ocean, and kelp forests always stood out to me. They're some of the fastest-growing ecosystems on Earth, they support an incredible diversity of marine life, and they're packed with compounds that have evolved to thrive in one of the harshest environments imaginable.

The more I learned about kelp, the more I wondered why it wasn't playing a bigger role in everyday skincare. Neptune Ave. became my way of sharing that story through products people actually want to use.

The name is a tribute to Neptune Avenue, the beachfront street in Leucadia that helped shape my love for the coast. It represents the easygoing rhythm of Southern California, where the ocean, sunshine, and nature are woven into everyday life.

Our first product, High Dive Barrier Repair Sunscreen, is built around a simple idea: sun protection should feel great on your skin while feeling like skincare. We paired broad-spectrum SPF 50 with kelp extract, ceramides, and niacinamide to create a lightweight daily sunscreen that helps support the skin barrier and introduces more people to the potential of marine ingredients.

This is just the beginning. My hope is that Neptune Ave. not only makes products you'll enjoy using every day, but also inspires a greater appreciation for the ocean ecosystems that make ingredients like kelp possible.
